When top performance is a must, the SQ7 delivers 500 horsepower. The turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 also generates an exhilarating 568 lb-ft of torque. The Lexus RX stands far below this capability.

It features up to 1,971 litres of cargo capacity with rear seats down. Even when the second row seats are upright, the Q7 has 740 litres of capacity in the rear area. The RX doesn't come close in volume. The "L" or "long" models of the 350 and 450H L have a maximum capacity of 1,656 litres and 652 litres behind the upright rear seats. These numbers reduce to 924 L/453 L on the standard length models. The Q7 has plenty of elbow room for friends and family.
The Q7 and and RX offer a third row, but the Q7 fares better in passenger space in that row.
