What's new on the 2022 Audi A3?

The Audi A3 has been entirely reworked for 2022 and it is now better than ever due to its new style and its numerous new features.

A distinctive style

For 2022, the Audi A3 adopts a modernized style that makes it stand apart from the other compact sedans. The new look of the front end is more aggressive with its larger honeycomb grille and standard LED headlamps. The side profile benefits from sharper sculpting and the presence of “Quattro blisters” which are a nod to some of the most important models in Audi’s history. The rear features a more dynamic bumper and new LED taillamps. These elements combine to create a more athletic appearance that hints at the performance and the driving dynamics of the new A3. The interior also shows a modern design which is oriented towards the driver to place every control at the fingertips.

More features than ever

The 2022 Audi A3 is equipped with more standard and available features than ever, and more than most of its competitors. For example, the standard instrument cluster is a 10.25-inch digital display and a 12.3-inch Virtual Cockpit is available. This cluster can be configured to display a host of information about the car or the infotainment system. The A3 is also equipped with the most recent version of the MIB 3 infotainment system which is now able to recognise handwriting and feature wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This system can be controlled via a 10.1 inch capacitive-touchscreen that is engineered to react as quickly as the screen on a mobile phone. The 2022 A3 is also available with a host of driver assistance features, such as the Park assist, which takes control of the steering in order to make parking in tight parallel or perpendicular spots much easier. Another useful feature is the new-for-2022 head-up display that projects the speed and other important information directly in the windshield.
