Audi activesphere will be the last concept of Audi Sphere

Audi has unveiled its final sphere concept after three previous gradual unveilings since August 2021. In early 2023, Audi will introduce the Audi activesphere, rounding out the family of prototypes that includes Audi skyspheres, Audi grandspheres, and Audi urbanspheres. 

Together, these four concepts highlight how Audi is moving forward with electrification technology and automated driving. Designed around singular ideas, each concept represents a comprehensive approach to different automotive needs.

 Audi's skysphere provided a glimpse into a future electrified Roadster while Audi's urbansphere was designed for urban environments. Audi's grandsphere previews the ultra luxury sedan of tomorrow, while the upcoming Audi's activesphere is Audi's take on the utility vehicle for active lifestyles.

In addition to previewing Audi's future design language, these concepts are interesting for a variety of reasons. We get a glimpse of how hands-free operation will be possible with advanced self-driving technologies in the future. In spite of the fact that these concepts may not make it into production, they do demonstrate that Audi is already planning for the future with its next lineup.
