Book A Test Drive

When you have as much experience building high-performance quattro AWD cars as Audi does, it only makes sense that these SUVs happen to be some of the highest-performing, most luxuriously-appointed of their kind in their respective segments.
Audi Sport has recently introduced a collection of the most powerful production Audi vehicles ever manufactured. The philosophy behind each of these cars and SUVs is simple: performance, prestige and exclusiveness with full everyday practicality. In a bid to bridge the gap between Audi Sport and the products on which they are based, two new “S” SUVs are joining the Audi family. The philosophy still applies, however.
The 2020 Audi SQ7 and Audi SQ8 combine the richness, luxury and technology already offered in all Audi vehicles with a strong dose of vitamin V8. But, as we all know, power is nothing without absolute control. This is why both SUVs will be equipped as standard with an S tuned adaptive air suspension and all-wheel steering. These two elements provide each vehicle with a breadth of on- and off-road abilities unlike any other.
That V8 also happens to be derived from the engine found in the all-new RS 6 Avant and the fastest SUV in the world, the RS Q8. The 4.0-liter TFSI bi-turbo V8 produces 453-horsepower and 487 lb.-ft. of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission, a 48-volt mild-hybrid system, Audi quattro AWD and Audi Drive Select are all included. With all of this, the SQ7 and SQ8 will reach 100 km/h from a standstill in no more than 4.5 seconds.
There will be an optional Dynamic plus package which will further enhance the SQ7’s and SQ8’s drive systems. Part of the package are a sport differential with the precise ability to put the power to the right wheels. As well, there’s an electromechanical active body control system which uses the 48V electrical system to activate stabilizers to negate body roll.
While performance is everything, or nearly, the 2020 Audi SQ7 and Audi SQ8 will feature typical Audi “S” model styling cues such as aluminum-effect side mirrors and, of course, quad exhaust tips. Stylish 21-inch wheels are standard however the SQ8 can be fitted with optional 22-inch wheels for an even stronger visual impact.
Each SUV is fitted with distinct “S” trimmed sports seats, steering wheel, pedals and sills, and a plethora of infotainment and safety technologies.
This is the intersection of power and luxury.
